FotoRegistro went from 22 to 71 first places on ChatGPT in 43 days

Be the first choice, not the budget option

FotoRegistro is a photo printing e-commerce business with its own factory in Joinville, Santa Catarina, selling online across Brazil. In June 2026, AI already mentioned FotoRegistro, but as the value-for-money option. And first place for photo books, the company's priority product, changed every time the question was asked. The goal was for FotoRegistro to be the first choice in ChatGPT answers.

We mapped 395 questions across five areas of the store: photo books, photo printing, frames and decor, photo gifts and stationery, and the brand. The first part of the guide went live on 24 June 2026. The next ones targeted the questions in which AI did not yet recommend FotoRegistro, such as framed photos and printing from a phone. In September, the guide had 386 pages live.

Outcome

First place on ChatGPT in 71 questions

Between 20 July and 1 September 2026, FotoRegistro's first places on ChatGPT went from 22 to 71. The questions were the same 361 on both dates: 53 came in and only 4 dropped out.

The first citation in 30 days

ChatGPT first cited FotoRegistro's guide on 24 July 2026, 30 days after the guide went live.

A guide that already answers the market

On 2 September 2026, of the 44 new questions that came up in the market, 37 already had a FotoRegistro article answering them, or 84%. That is why the next round needed only 5 new articles and 16 revisions, instead of 44 articles.
