Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

This policy explains what data we handle when you visit murmur.marketing, why, and the rights you have over it. It is written to Brazil's LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law 13.709/2018); a short note at the end covers visitors in the EU/EEA and the United Kingdom.

Who we are

The site is operated by murmur (murmur.marketing), a technology brand based in Brazil, acting as the data controller. For any privacy request or question, contact us at account@murmur.marketing.

The short version

murmur.marketing is a static site. It has no login, no forms, and no newsletter. We do not sell your data, and no cookies load until you accept them. In practice we handle very little about you.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data for every visit — your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is used to keep the site secure and working, on the basis of our legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, IX).
  • Analytics — only if you accept. If you accept cookies in our consent banner, we may use a web analytics service (Google Analytics) to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects data such as your approximate location, pages viewed, and device information. This runs only with your consent (LGPD art. 7, I) and never before you accept. If you decline, no analytics load.
  • When you contact us. Our call-to-action buttons open WhatsApp. If you choose to message us, WhatsApp (Meta) processes that conversation under its own terms, and we receive whatever you send us (for example, your name, WhatsApp number, and message).

We do not run any other tracking, advertising pixels, or profiling on this site.

Cookies & consent

By default the site sets no cookies. The only cookies we may use are the analytics cookies described above, and they load exclusively after you click Accept in the consent banner. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies link in the footer, or by clearing your browser's site data for murmur.marketing.

Fonts are self-hosted

The fonts on this site are served directly from our own servers. We do not load them from a third-party font network, so your IP address is not shared with any font provider just for visiting the page.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site:

  • Hosting provider — stores the site and generates the server logs above.
  • Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies; data may be processed on Google servers, including in the United States.
  • WhatsApp / Meta — only if you choose to message us through the WhatsApp button.

When data is processed outside Brazil, it is transferred under the safeguards those providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses). We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostics and then rotated out. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the analytics provider. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.

Your rights

Under the LGPD you may, at any time, ask us to:

  • confirm that we process your data, and access it;
  • correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
  • anonymize, block, or delete unnecessary or excessive data;
  • request portability of your data to another provider;
  • delete data processed with your consent;
  • obtain information about who we share your data with;
  • withdraw your consent.

To exercise any of these, email account@murmur.marketing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Brazil's data protection authority, the ANPD.

Children

This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK

If you are in these regions, the GDPR (and UK GDPR) gives you rights equivalent to those above — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection — and the right to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Our legal bases are your consent (for analytics) and our legitimate interest (for basic server logs and site security). You may contact us at the same address, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here.
